About Us

With their shared love of construction and entrepreneurial ambition, friends Jay Redenbaugh and Jeff Smith formed a small, remodeling company in February 2003 and called it Insuramax Contractors, LLC. Insurance restoration was their main focus, but they quickly expanded their work to include full service residential remodeling, room additions, and light commercial.

They changed the company name to Redsmith Construction in 2013, but their core principles have always remained the same: Provide exceptional customer service, build trust by keeping an open line of communication with clients and the team, stay updated on the latest innovations in construction, and maintain a positive relationship with subcontractors and crew.

Hundreds of projects later, and through mostly word-of-mouth referrals, Jeff and Jay’s two-person crew has grown into a team with a reputation for reliability, trust and quality craftsmanship.
